Meet Jason! 

Teaching Philosophy: I'm a strong advocate for hands-on learning and the "learn by doing" approach. I joined Pontone's in the spring of 2024 initially as a student and was quickly invited to teach classes. I believe it's crucial not only to learn songs but also to understand the 'why' behind them. This knowledge helps students apply what they've learned to their own musical journey, enhancing their creativity.

What They Teach: I teach Guitar. My musical tastes are broad, ranging from Country to Metal and everything in between. I particularly enjoy playing hard rock and metal riffs, which is where you'll find me having the most fun. My love for guitar really kicked off after my first concert - Metallica when I was 18. That experience has shaped my teaching style, focusing on the passion and intensity of music.

Why They Love Teaching: I particularly love teaching beginners and late beginners because it's incredibly rewarding to watch students fall in love with music and enjoy playing their instruments.
