We Have Moved!
At Pontones Music, we believe music should be shared—not just practiced. That’s why performance opportunities are a key part of our students’ experience. Whether it’s a formal recital or a fun community gathering, we provide our students with meaningful chances to perform, grow, and connect through music.
Each year, we host at least two full studio-wide recitals, open to all students across instruments and ages:
Spring Recital – Held near the end of the school year, this recital celebrates student progress and confidence in a supportive, celebratory environment.
Winter Recital – Typically held in December, this performance allows students to share holiday music, winter-themed pieces, or personal favorites with family and friends.
These recitals are designed to be low-pressure and student-centered, giving performers the chance to shine at their own pace.
In addition to our main recitals, many of our teachers offer or organize smaller performances throughout the year. These include:
Community events like neighborhood festivals, downtown gatherings, or local fundraisers
Retirement home performances, where students can share music with seniors and practice performing in a relaxed setting
Pop-up concerts and mini-showcases organized by individual teachers
These events offer valuable real-world performance experience and foster a sense of giving back through music.
Pontones Music is proud to participate in the Arts in the Alley Parade each year in Downtown Grove City. This is one of our favorite traditions!
We invite all students and families to march with us as we represent the studio with signs, instruments, smiles, and spirit. It’s a fun and festive way to celebrate creativity, visibility, and our place in the Grove City arts community.
It’s one of our favorite events of the year—an opportunity for students to come together outside of lessons, be part of something bigger, and show the city what Pontones Music is all about: fun, passion, and community through music.
Whether you’re playing an instrument, waving to the crowd, or just soaking up the energy, it’s a memory you won’t forget.
Performance helps students:
Build confidence
Learn to manage nerves
Celebrate their progress
Connect with family, friends, and the wider community
Set goals and work toward them with intention
Whether it's your first recital or your fiftieth, Pontones Music is here to support you every step of the way.
When you take lessons at Pontones Music, you're not just learning an instrument—you’re becoming part of a musical community. We can’t wait to celebrate your progress on stage, in the park, downtown, or wherever music takes us next.
